Can’t wait for them to come back to Australia again so I can relive what was one of the best nights I’ve had and one of the great concerts I’ve attended. Pierce The Veil out shines them in every aspect of "down to earth" and "connecting with fans" sort of ways. (They fall owed peirce the veil’s set) I love SWS. They were jumping around and air grinding and it was nothing like their old sound. All in all, it was a good show, with lots of energy from the band and the crowd, but these things, or at least the volume of Kellin’s vocals, could definately be improved.

Before I went to the concert, I was studying the lyrics to their popular songs so I can sing along. I love the lead singer’s (Kellin Quinn) voice and style.The first song I heard from them was If You Can’t Hang, which they performed at the concert. The rest of the band played flawlessly through the songs and made it exciting. Their music features heavy guitar riffs as well as fast sweeping guitar leads that are layered over the thunderous sounds of the drums. The band features members of other post-hardcore bands like Broadway, For All We Know, and Paddock Park, which meant that the members were already experienced musicians before formation. The album, Produced by Will Yip (Turnstile, Circa Survive, Movements), the new record represents both a homecoming and a reckoning for them as they revive the restless spirit of their classic sound with the nuanced experience of recent years.

The set was amazing and if highly recommend anyone that listens to sleeping with sirens hasn’t had the full experience until they see then live in concert. Kellin’s voice sounded amazing, he has nice clean live vocals and they songs sounded the same as they did from the studio. I loved the playlist-there were both old and new songs and also some acoustic performances (roger rabbit was my personal favourite Kellin’s voice with Nick’s guitar was just sooo good).

Unfortunately the instruments were so loud you couldn’t really hear Kellins vocals, except for the acoustic set. Sleeping with Sirens is a post-hardcore band. There wasn’t any lip syncing at the concert. My first concert seeing Sleeping with Sirens. The songs meant a lot to me before..but after seeing them live, the songs mean so much more to me now. Kellin even started beat boxing half way through (acoustic) Rodger Rabbit which was amazing.

Kellin Quinn’s voice is incredibly distinctive, singing in the tenor leggiero range, which allows his voice to jump up to very high ranges. Once the band formed in 2009 they were quick to release their debut album “With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear”, which came out in 2010 on Rise Records. The post-hardcore band Sleeping with Sirens formed in Orlando, Florida, US, but would later relocate to Grand Rapids, Michigan, US.
